‘In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died,
and their departure was thought to be an affliction…
but they are at peace’. Wisdom 3:2–3
During the month of November, it is customary for Catholics to remember in prayer their departed family members and friends. The friars at St Dominic’s welcome the opportunity to offer the holy sacrifice of the Mass for these holy souls; we will also be lighting candles in the sanctuary during the Forty Hours devotion to remember the faithful departed.
When asking for Masses to be offered and candles to be lit, it is customary to make a donation. This donation helps to cover the living costs of the friars and the running costs of the church.
MAKE YOUR OFFERINGS BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD
You can use the two forms below to add the names of deceased persons to the November Masses for Holy Souls and make a donation using a payment card. The form will also give you the option to provide the names you would like written into our November Dead List. If you have any difficulty using the form, or cannot afford to make a donation, please contact us.
Please note, cash donations can be made using the envelopes available in church.
