It was a great joy for us to welcome for the first time His Grace, Archbishop Richard Moth, Archbishop of Westminster, to St Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine on the occasion of our celebration of 10 years of the Rosary Shrine. Before Solemn Mass at 12noon, His Grace was given a tour both of the church itself as well as the studios of Radio Maria which are based above our parish hall.

We extend our gratitude to His Grace for his kind visit to us, and to all those who made the occasion so splendid, including our choral director and organist, our musicians, altar servers, those who decorated the church with flowers, and those who facilitated the reception following the Mass. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new teenagers group, ‘The Frassati Society,’ named in honour of St Pier Giorgio Frassati, the lay Dominican saint. The group is open to teenagers below 18 years of age. Permission forms are a requirement before attending, so please contact the parish office to obtain a copy. First meet up will be 11 September in the Parish Hall from 7-8.30pm.

Our 2026-2027 Teen Confirmation programme is open for registration for those aged between 14-17 years old. Please contact [email protected] to begin registration. Classes will be half hour long on Sundays from September until May on Sundays at 11.15am

August is a quieter time in the parish and an opportunity for many of our staff and volunteers to get a rest. Please note that:

1. There will be no newsletter for the month of August
2. There will be no choirs at the 10am, 12noon, and 5pm Sunday Masses

We are excited to announce that choral scholarship positions have opened up here at St Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine.

In addition to singing regularly at the Sunday 12noon solemn Mass, and once a month at 5pm for the Latin Dominican Rite Mass, as well as during Christmas and Holy Week, choral scholars will also have opportunities to sing at other liturgical events in the course of the year.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and to enrich the musical life of an active parish and diocesan shrine.
