Join Radio Maria on Friday, 10th January 2025 at 7pm in the Blackfriars Hall for an evening of fellowship and fun! Fr Justin Bolger OP of the Hillbilly Thomists brings you a unique mix of Bourbon, Bluegrass, and the Bible, accompanied by Tim Hutchinson from Radio Maria England. Enjoy great music, dancing, and scripture as we celebrate the start of the year together. Space is Limited, and tickets are a £10 donation. Register at RadioMariaEngland.uk.

Come join us this Friday evening at 7pm for our Advent Eucharistic Healing Service accompanied by sacred chant and music performed by the choral scholars of St Dominic’s-The Rosary Shrine. All are welcome.

We are proud to welcome to St Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine the Purcell School Chamber Choir conducted by Paul Bambrough with organist Tom Winpenny. Admission is free, though donations received will be split between the school and our church organ restoration fund.

Put the dates in your diary! Our Christmas fayre will take place from 12noon on Saturday 7 December and we will also have a Children’s Christmas Party on 15th December straight after the Sunday 10am Family Mass.

There are a number of events happening at St Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine in the month of November, the month of the Holy Souls. We hope you can join us for some or all of it!

It is a long and venerable tradition to offer Masses for the faithful departed in this month of November. Masses can be booked online (names will be added to the Book of the Dead for November) and all evening Masses in November will be offered for the deceased. Also it is possible to sponsor a sanctuary candle that will burn through the 40 Hours devotion (extended period of Adoration across a few days) when we will gather to pray for the faithful departed.

On Sunday 17^th December from 10am-2pm there will be the St Dominic’s Christmas Fayre. Raffle tickets are available, and there will the opportunity to buy cakes and various items. All are welcome! If you’d like to make a donation to the fair, whether cash or items like alcohol, toiletries, and other items (please no clothing), please email the Parish Secretary at london.secretary@english.op.org

Friday 8 December – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

7.15pm

In the evening of the Immaculate Conception, we will be having a Eucharistic Healing Service. It will be a time of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for healing in our lives, with individual blessings with the Blessed Sacrament. The evening will be accompanied by choral singing and the organ. All are very welcome. Information on Catholic and Christian counselling/therapy services will be available to take from the back of the church.

 St Dominic’s Filipino Choir will be putting on a choral concert in aid of the St Dominic’s Heating project.
